Hello, loves!
Small Business Saturday is here, and it’s one of my favourite days of the year. Only joking, thats Halloween - but Small Business Saturday is still pretty important. It’s a chance to pause and celebrate the incredible work small businesses and charities do every single day. As a small business owner myself, I know how much heart, hustle, and coffee (so much coffee!) goes into building something meaningful.
This day is all about highlighting the importance of shopping small and choosing local. When you support a small business, you’re not just buying a product or service; you’re supporting a dream, a family, and a community.
What Does Supporting Small Mean?
Every time you choose a small business, you make a difference. You help someone pay their bills, send their kids to swim lessons, or invest in their future. You allow someone like me to work on projects that light me up, like creating websites for charities doing incredible things.
As a small business, I’ve worked with organisations like:
Women & Children First – Working to reduce maternal mortality worldwide.
Hackney Children & Baby Bank – Supporting families in need with essential supplies.
Black Girls Do Run UK – Encouraging health, wellness, and friendship through running.
Abbie’s Army – Funding DIPG research and supporting families in the fight against childhood cancer.
Frome Birth Talk – Offering invaluable mental health support for new and expectant parents.
Each of these projects is personal. They reflect the hard work and passion of those running these organisations, and I’m honoured to play a part in bringing their visions to life.
Why Small Businesses Matter
Small businesses create connections. When you work with someone small, you aren’t a number. You’re part of a relationship built on trust, care, and attention to detail. That’s what I aim to give every client I work with—a bespoke experience that feels collaborative and empowering.
How You Can Celebrate Small Business Saturday
Supporting small businesses doesn’t always mean spending money (though we love that too!). Here are some simple ways to show your support:
Write a Review – A few kind words online can work wonders.
Recommend to a Friend – Word of mouth is everything for small businesses.
Engage on Social Media – Like, comment, and share posts to help us grow.
Shop Small When You Can – Every little purchase helps.
Thank You for Supporting Small
As we celebrate Small Business Saturday, I want to thank every client, follower, and supporter who has believed in me this year. Whether you’ve trusted me with your website, sent a kind message, or shared my work with someone who needed it, you’ve made a difference.
So, as you shop, scroll, and share this weekend, remember the impact you’re making. Small businesses are powered by people, and people like you are what keep us going.
Here’s to all the small businesses—and the big hearts behind them!
