Calling all small UK charities! Is your website feeling neglected? This could be your chance to win a FREE pro bono redesign and build by me, Katie.
🏆 Eligibility:
Must be a registered UK-based charity with the Charity Commission.
Annual earnings should be £50,000 or under.
📝 How to Enter the competition:
FOLLOW Made by Katie (@hello_Made_by_Katie) on Instagram
LIKE and SAVE the competition post.
Comment on the competition post with the following details:
a. Charity Name
b. Charity Number
c. Description of your charitable activities
d. Link to your current website (if you have one).
Entries will be accepted from 9th February to 23rd February.
Final voting among the top three finalists will occur from 1st March to 25th March.
The website design and build for the winner will commence at the beginning of April 2024.
🔍 Selection Process:
All entries meeting the criteria will be considered.
Five potential candidates will be shortlisted.
The final three will be chosen by the whims of my three-year-old (our adorable judge!).
The three finalists will be put to a vote on the Made by Katie Instagram feed, and the charity with the most likes will win.
The winner will be announced on our Instagram (@hello_Made_by_Katie)
📅 Terms & Conditions:
Prize Expiry Date: The prize offer expires on 30th April 2024. The winner must be prepared to commence work on the website within a reasonable timeframe following the announcement of the competition results.
Scope of Prize: The prize includes one, simple pro bono website design and build services only using WIX. The winner is solely responsible for any supplementary expenses, including but not limited hosting, domain fees, stock images, or any ongoing costs and these costs are the winner’s responsibility to maintain going forward.
Website Specifications: The winning charity will receive a custom-built website consisting of up to 10 pages, encompassing essential features such as information about the charity, its mission, projects, and a contact form for inquiries. The design process includes up to one round of amendments or changes.
Exclusion of Certain Features: Please note that the website design will not accommodate e-commerce functionalities or booking diaries.
Responsibilities of the Winning Charity: The winning charity commits to maintaining open and timely communication with Made by Katie throughout the website design process. Additionally, the winning charity agrees to provide necessary content promptly and to assume ownership of their domain, including responsibility for covering any associated ongoing fees to ensure the continuous operation of the website.
Limitation of Liability: Upon the client's approval and sign-off of all work, and upon the successful launch of the new website, Made by Katie relinquishes responsibility for any subsequent website downtime, errors, or issues.
Recognition: As part of the prize package, the winning charity will be prominently featured as a case study on the Made by Katie website and various social media platforms.
Testimonial Requirement: The winner must provide a written testimonial detailing their experience with Made by Katie's services, which will be published on the Made by Katie website.
Prize Acceptance: Acceptance of the prize constitutes consent for Made by Katie to utilize the winner's name, likeness, and competition entry for promotional purposes, without the necessity for further compensation.
Publicity Release: Upon acceptance of the prize, the winner will be required to sign a publicity release granting Made by Katie the rights to use their name, likeness, and provided testimonials for advertising and promotional activities.
Disqualification Criteria: Any instances of providing false information, engaging in unethical behaviour, or demonstrating hate or discrimination will result in immediate disqualification from the competition.
Rights to Entries: By participating, entrants agree that their submissions may be utilized for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, website content, and marketing materials.
