Good things come in threes. Coffee, biscuits, and beautifully balanced layouts.

In design, the rule of thirds is a handy little trick for creating harmony. You divide your space into a 3x3 grid like a tic-tac-toe board and place key elements where the lines cross. It draws the eye in, creates flow, and just feels right.

It’s one of those things that once you see it, you can’t unsee it and you’ll start noticing it everywhere from websites to photos to film scenes. Proof that a little structure can make the magic happen.

Mobile first design is so important, especially when you think when and how people are accessing your website

I’m really excited to be designing the new website for the Norse Institute!

This site is all about putting content front and centre with a huge wealth of resources and shared knowledge to organise. NORSE (New Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus) and FIRES (Febrile Infection-Related Epilepsy Syndrome) are rare, severe neurological conditions that affect both children and adults. My goal is to make sure clinical professionals and families affected by these conditions can easily find the information they need, without feeling overwhelmed.

It’s a vital project, and I can’t wait to help make this valuable content accessible and clear for everyone who relies on it.

Every project is different, and so is the price. I base my quotes on the scale and complexity of the work involved. If you’ve got something in mind, let’s have a proper chat.

This is their first website, a small but powerful digital home for their mission: providing free clothing parcels to children aged 0–14, ensuring no child has to go without the basics.

In these tough times, their support is more essential than ever. Like the charity itself, the website is small but mighty: practical, welcoming, and built to grow with them.
